Song of the Day - The Fray

Hey buddies,

Fun to listen to Radio37 eh?
now my turn...haha
but well i didn't record anything...maybe i gonna be a special guest for next episode,
watch out! lol
well this time i gonna continue the music adventure..
last time i have mentioned about Sum41. one of my fav bands,
this time i would like to introduce..The Fray..
their music isn't my fav type..
but kinda relax, n "life emotional"

"The Fray is a Grammy Award-nominated four-piece piano rock band. Formed in 2002 by schoolmates Isaac Slade and Joe King, the Denver-based group released their debut album How to Save a Life in 2005. "

I have bought their new self-titled second US No.1 album- The Fray
the reason that i bought it was becoz i enjoyed one of their song very much -
You Found Me
very touching, like the lyrics..(mv+lyrics below)
aLiz' PICK: You Found Me, Syndicate, Where The Story Ends

not totally addicted to all their songs,,
coz some songs are pretty similar..
not too surprise..
but other than the songs,
i really like the artworks of the CD.,
thats what i mainly wanna share with you =)

"The Fray" and Sum41's "All the Good Shit"

I really like the cover..busy walking street

they have used "light and dark" effect as the cd's main theme
by using with "light tubes" and put at different locations..
very interesting...i really like it!
above is the cd cover and front of the lyrics booklet
back of the CD cover and lyrics booklet

Inside cd cover

inside the lyrics booklet..
play around with the light tubes, using at the desert

one for the "Happiness"song

I really like this one..nice photograph!

SONG OF THE DAY
The Fray - You Found Me

I found God
On the corner of First and Amistad
Where the west
Was all but won
All alone
Smoking his last cigarette
I said, "Where you been?"
He said, "Ask anything".

Where were you
When everything was falling apart?
All my days
Were spent by the telephone
It never rang
And all I needed was a call
It never came
To the corner of First and Amistad

Lost and insecure
You found me, you found me
Lyin' on the floor
Surrounded, surrounded
Why'd you have to wait?
Where were you?
Where were you?
Just a little late
You found me, you found me

In the end
Everyone ends up alone
Losing her
The only one who's ever known
Who I am
Who I'm not, who I wanna be
No way to know
How long she will be next to me

Lost and insecure
You found me, you found me
Lyin' on the floor
Surrounded, surrounded
Why'd you have to wait?
Where were you?
Where were you?
Just a little late
You found me, you found me

Early morning
The city breaks
I've been callin'
For years and years and years and years
And you never left me no messages
Ya never send me no letters
You got some kinda nerve
Taking all my world

Lost and insecure
You found me, you found me
Lyin' on the floor
Where were you?
Where were you?
Lost and insecure
You found me, you found me
Lyin' on the floor
Surrounded, surrounded
Why'd you have to wait?
Where were you?
Where were you?
Just a little late
You found me, you found me
Why'd you have to wait?
To find me, to find me
